The Kings of Israel and Judah
Six different kings and six very different styles in leadership. Some of the kings in our sermon series “Profiles in Leadership” you’ve heard of (David and Solomon) and some you may not (Asa and Manasseh), but each brought a different take on what it means to be a leader (with varying levels of success and greatly varying levels of faithfulness). We’ll wrestle with what makes a good leader, what makes Christian leadership different (and better!), and how Jesus is the only perfect example of leadership, what he used his leadership to accomplish, and how he still leads us today.
